You can edit the json with notepad to change the settings for the mod.

After starting the game with the mod for the first time, a json file will be generated under the "Mods" folder (mine is found at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\worldbox\worldbox_Data\StreamingAssets\Mods) named "selectiveBreedingSettings.json".

Start the game, the mod should now be active with the default settings.
